Big Plant Sales first started in 2017 thanks to Léo and Julien, two landscape designers/planners with a passion for plants. Fed up with the over-inflated prices in the city, the two experts came up with a simple concept: a series of Giant Sales of Plants at rounded-down prices of €2, €5 and €10 to be held over a weekend in all the major cities in France and Europe. Their self-avowed objective was to pass on their expert knowledge of botany via numerous workshops and give everyone the opportunity of buying green plants, tropical plants and cacti at affordable prices, whilst endeavoring to develop and support new eco-responsible horticultural producers.
